Introducing Our New Website

Welcome to our new site and first blog post. We invite you to look around, sample some pages, and get to know us a bit.

Click on our Architecture page for "3 Steps to Quality Building Construction and Renovation." Here you'll learn how Dan Berkhoudt, Architect, can help you design, bid, and construct a quality project on time and on budget.

On the Engineering page, check out how Tom Davis, P.E. can save you time, money, and aggravation by engineering quality equipment cost effectively. Tom is a licensed professional engineer and expertly handles fire protection, commercial HVAC and plumbing, building systems, and electrical power and lighting.

You'll find the philosophy that drives us in helping you plan, design, and implement your projects on the About Us page. We think you'll like our "build it to your vision" approach to both residential and commercial projects. Also listed here some of the projects we've done and are currently working on in the Mohawk Valley.

One of the things we're most excited about is this blog. We'll provide you posts with timely tips, news, and information about the latest in architecture, mechanical engineering, and the construction industry.

We'll focus on the challenges builders face in New York State and closer to home here in the Mohawk Valley. Some of the topics we'll be talking about include the ins and outs of historic preservation, saving money with building maintenance, and tips on complying with local building codes and zoning ordinances.

Notice also our new tagline, Your Life, Your Business, Your Space. It means that you and your lifestyle or business are front and center of our planning, design, and construction. We'll talk more about how we accomplish this in future posts and we hope you'll give us a call if you have a new building or renovation project in your plans.

Until next time,

Dan Berkhoudt, AIA, LEED-AP
and
Tom Davis, P.E.
